No bashing here! Question though, do you think this is a deal breaker from Kevin Love's point of view? Or would he still be willing to join?
Any word on Melo and the Rockets, Cyberx? I honestly don't think Love is the guy to help us to the promise land personally. I think the Rockets shouldn't lose focus on the Melo Sweepstakes.
Yeah that actually make me want to avoid Love now. Seems to have a huge ego for someone who hasn't lead a team to a playoff spot.
I'm not gonna bash you, but he really thinks that about Dwight? Even after the Portland series where he gave it all he had? No argument on Harden though. I think we're all questioning his drive after this postseason.
Can't say I'm shocked. Harden being the laughingstock of guard defense in the NBA definitely isn't helping his image. And Love isn't a good defender, but he's nowhere near as lacking in effort as Harden. Btw CyberX, if you ever are jonesing to spill out some sweet gossip, feel free to message me. Your insight will always be appreciated and free of meaningless ridicule.
Kevin Love thinks Harden is not a winner? Pretty ballsy talk for someone who has never made the playoffs in his entire 6 year career.
I think he's saying that Dwight feels the same way as Love about Harden, not that Love feels that way about Dwight.
Not going to flame you because if that's how Love feels that that's how Love feels.... but talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Kinda tells you what you need to know about Kevin Love's personality right there. Love is just as bad at cherry picking defensive possessions to stuff stats, and has never taken a team to the playoffs that are much more talented than last years Rockets team. Also, did Love skip the 2012 playoffs when Harden was the best player on the floor for an entire Western Conference Finals? How about when Dwight single handily took an Orlando Magic team to the finals? Thanks for sharing the info that you know.
Interesting perspective from Love. But I have to wonder how that info even gets to Morey. Is Morey already talking to his agent? What kind of backroom nonsense is goin on
Hmmm.... Love shouldn't be throwing stones from his rickety ass glass house. When his play elevates his team to the playoffs - then he can start chirping. But for my taste, he's had too much talent around him w/o the ability to seal the deal. I'm not sure why anyone would break the bank for him.
Yeah this needs to be clarified. Does Dwight feel the same way as Kevin Love about Harden being committed to winning or does Kevin Love have reservations about playing with Harden AND Howard? cyberx?
I guess this is about as good a time as any to remind folks that this is the same guy that did this- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwUuU6Ltw9o We aren't necessarily talking about the greatest class act of all time here. Great player, but I dont want to hear anyone complain about Harden & Dwight's personality when you are savoring the thought of Kevin Love.
Is cyberx stating that Love and Howard both hate Harden's effort and defense (rather than Love also thinks Dwight's effort etc...?) If that's the case: If Love and Howard both think Harden is a lazy non-competitive etc etc (even if Love isn't exactly a defensive juggernaut to be bashing on anyone in this regard, but I will agree on Harden's effort), then trade Harden and Asik to Philadelphia's cap space for their lottery picks. Sweeten the deal either way. Higher lottery pick and sweetener for Love. I'd flush Harden for Kevin Love in a heartbeat, so sorry. And that might be the only way this can be done anyway. I can't watch this at work but I'm assuming this is video of Love stomping Luis Scola's face? (If not, I guess it should be.) And I still don't care. Howard + Harden = lethal combination.
Harden - he is becoming quite a joke in the league as far as players who want to be on that ELITE status.
If that's what cyberx meant, that makes sense. It introduces a whole new layer of potential issues within the Rockets locker room, but I get where Dwight is coming from. If on the other hand he meant it as I read it, that he's questioning BOTH Harden and Dwight, then I think Love is a little out of line. The one takeaway I think every Rockets fan agreed on from the Portland series is that you could not blame Dwight for the loss. He was a beast out there.
