Thanks Nook and others for being a complete jackass to cyberx. Even after Clutch showed his support for cyberx you guys continued to follow his posts calling him a fake and fraud.
You can never have enough rebounding, but I doubt Love can rebound like LMA or much less Asik. He's got a knee issue that could explode and have him sitting on the sidelines for an extended amount of time. He definitely will never be able to defend due to his limited size and mobility at his position. I would head another direction or keep guys like Parsons and Jones to work with a better upgraded coach and see what happens.
I see one positive from this regardless of the outcome. I have been against the 3 superstar plan mostly because it was 2 years down the road. I wanted Morey to build around what we have and bring in some nice complimentary pieces and not waste 2 years of Dwight Howard's prime years for the summer of 2015 pipe dream. Everybody knows that Love was the coveted prize so either we get him one year early or it frees Morey up to make some serious roster moves without worrying about cap space and free agency. You should never take your opportunity to contend for granted and I felt that is what happened this year. Who knows how many good deals he has passed up with 2015 in mind. Deals that could have potentially gotten us out of the 1st round this year. Getting out of the 1st round isn't the goal, but you never know what can happen and how quickly your seemingly large window can close. Make roster moves with the mentality to win it all right now and let the chips fall where they may because tomorrow isn't promised.
Houston gets: KEVIN LOVE JJ BAREA SHABAAZ MUHAMMAD MINNESOTA GETS: CHANDLER PARSONS OMER ASIK DONATAS MONTIEJUNAS JEREMY LIN SALARIES ARE CLOSE, THIS TRADE WORKS ON NBA TRADE MACHINE
One more tidbit that I will get FLAMED for: Love doesn't think Harden is a winner. He thinks he isn't the greatest of competitors. Hates his defense and effort. Same with Dwight. Go ahead. BASH ME! This is it.
thanks for the info- no bashing here. So do you mean Love thinks the same about Dwight or Dwight thinks the same about Harden?
I can't blame Love if he felt that way but both players have been to the Finals whereas Love can't even get into the playoffs.
I think your rep per post count speaks for itself. You shouldn't care what others think. You are obviously on the board a lot because when people call for action you show up quickly. Tell us what you know, because the guys who are "aholes" usually get grilled from the rest of the garm! Don't hold back!
Seriously, of all the things... LOVE thinks other players don't try hard enough on defense? Stop it...you're killing me!
That sucks. I thought they were friends. If Love falls through, I am down with Milsap. Just give me someone who will try on defense!
thanks cybrex for all the info you have provided. hopefully these people that have nothing else to do but post stupid crap grows up.
Not gonna bash you but that's funny coming from Kevin Love. What does Kevin Love know about "winning" or being a "winner"? Forget getting to the playoffs, never had a winning season. But this! But that!
Thanks for the info sir. Fair assessment on Harden after these playoffs. Dwight I don't really understand that one! Lol
The injury issues are something that nobody is even really talking about on here. The guy has yet to play a full season, and other than his rookie year has only 2 years in the 70's, and 3 seasons under 60 games played. With the Rockets I would actually instruct him, other than on crack back defensive rebounds, to give up going for the uncontested rebounds if Dwight is in the area in order to still be able to run the floor. If you dont have at least 1 big that is running at all times, you just aren't a running team. One of those two guys will have to sacrifice the rebounding stats to play the style of play that makes the Rockets who they are. The Rockets need improved help rebounding from Jones or whoever is playing the PF spot next year, but they need that lead rebounder, and lead runner from the post spots to play their style. That's something people need to consider as well.
