Any way they would have played it would have been unbelievable. Who could whip someone's memory away? It may require some drugs.
you're the dude that spoiled the red wedding for a lot of those folks so please don't forget the paranoia comes with good cause, you also like to hint at a lot of things that show only fans aren't privy to, so please have a little respect for the story you so dearly love also, if we're talking about future characters of the show quentyn martell, arianna martell, dark star, ser arys oakheart, and the golden company
It makes sense to do it to set up the next part. It's just pretty unsatisfying to have Ironborn running away from a pack of dogs. They may be vicious dogs, but seasoned fighters with swords and armor are going to win that fight. And maybe they say Theon isn't worth the trouble anymore, but they went in saying they couldn't let anyone do this to the Ironborn with impunity. They needed revenge. It doesn't make sense for them to withdraw without killing Ramsay.
What are you talking about? That wasn't me, and I've mainly only posted after the episode was done to share my thoughts on how it was.
The Iron Born have been less than impressive all around to me. Yara is a bad girl but she is not up to badass level. Not yet anyway. We have not seen much of the rest . . . . [hell I am waiting on the next book to figure out what is up with the DampHair ] Rocket River
my bad yo, i just went back and looked at the thread and the posts, you were right under the spoiler post, please forgive my careless blaming of you, either way, you can understand the concern for trying to keep the story free of spoilers and hints that could lead to spoilers
No problem yo. I hate when people spoiler stuff for others, but I also hate people that act like paranoid snobs about not wanting to hear about stuff that isn't a spoiler. While the show gives us the characters and major plot points, there is no way it can expound or repeat the background as much as the book does. Thats why people I watch it with always ask me to explain. For example, the whole Elia and the Mountain part is repeated so many times that the book readers can feel the hate that Oberyn has for the Lanisters. If I were to say that in that other thread, even though it has been mentioned once before, people would lash out at me since it isn't emphasized as much and probably went over their heads.
This has been my concern as well. Pointing out . . .This is a Prince of DORN where they sent Cersai's daughter they jump . . . get upset because . . . OOO YOU SPOILING IT BECAUSE YOU SAYING HE IS IMPORTANT . . . and now we need to watch him more closely blah blah blah .. . . . [they referenced people being excited about his appearence] When it was stated in the TV show already Rocket River
Exactly, thats why I just tune in to that thread to rate the episode now. I don't say much else. People like that are just denying themselves a good story, and I would have been one of them if I wasn't infinitely bored 4 summers ago
Maybe...or he felt as we all felt. Lyssa was so annoying. If I was married to Lyssa I would consider throwing myself out the moon door.
i dont think so, cause by the end of storm of swords lysa is dead, i don't remember exactly where in the story little finger begins to negotiate how to solve the problem with the protector of the vale
Yes I expected them to not make Lysa fly until next season but it was quite the epic ending for the episode. I guess they just want to do the politic stuff in the Eyrie for next season or Sansa and Littlefinger just won't be getting much screen time next season which would be a shame because Littlefinger is really coming in to his own and Sansa is getting more attractive with each season that passes.
Well . . .I guess the lack of set up for the 'fall guy' [pun intended ] was disconcerting. Now I wonder how it will be 'explained' Rocket River
The reveal of him as the guy behind the scenes was very throwawayish, almost like a BTW type of thing. Havent read the books so no clue what his character development in there is like, but watching it strictly from a TV fan, it's definetely been rushed.
I thought it was funny how they gave Bowen Marsh's opinion to fill the tunnels to Jon Snow. It looks like they'll be changing this storyline a lot.
it's going to be disappointing seeing the red viper go, he has been as awesome as i thought he'd be, red viper v the mountain episode 8 what happens ep 9? episode 10 battle at the wall and tywin v tyrion i hope that episode 10 is 1:20 run time.
So we finally get our mortal(?) Hound wound. I'm pretty sure he will turn out to be alive in the books so I will miss him for the next few seasons on the show (assuming they don't change his story). I wouldn't mind them doing the same for Oberyn but I know that ain't happening.
