His focus is on whatever Melisandre wants it to be. and she wants him to go fight off the white walkers. I didn't read the books, just assumed thats where they were going by what was said in the previous episodes.
As a book reader, 2 things I was happy to see in this episode. 1) The hound telling the story about how his brother burned his face over a toy. Most of us expected him to tell it in Season 1 and were surprised when he didn't. Kind of gratifying to see them put that back in there. 2) Oberyn telling Tyrion about his visit to Casterly Rock. Another great story that they could've easily left out but found a way to put in.
Now that, is the definition of a nice rack. Perfect! I really enjoyed this episode, its set the tone for is whats gonna be a killer 3 episodes.
"Yes it's a kind of joke that is not funny" - that was funny. Great episode except that they didn't show what happened to Dario and Khalisse. I don't like gory fighthing scenes but i'm excited to see the trial by combat...
Correct. That's why Tyrion joked that Jamie should fight for him, so Tywin would lose the family name in one fell swoop, ie Jamie dies and then Tyrion executed.
I am bothed that . . up til now. . . he was the behind the scenes guy orchestrating with such attention to detail and guile now he seems to blatant and obvious . . . He is less interesting . . . Sansa still as uninteresting as ever Rocket River
losing does not necessarily mean dying. he can tap so to speak. there was another trial, i think it was the hound, where he won but didn't have to kill the opponent.
I'm very suspicious of whatever Baelish does/says. But I do think his murder of Joffrey was partially (very, very partially) motivated by Catelyn's death. The real mastermind was Tywin, so had Littlefinger actually wanted revenge, he should've targeted Tywin, but I doubt Baelish will take him on just yet. However, I think Baelish did it mostly to form the alliance with the Tyrells, and pin the evidence on Tyrion to get rid of one of his enemies at court. Just speculating here, but Baelish probably know about the Lannisters debt to the Iron Bank, and decided the Tyrells were a safer bet since they are always wealthy because of their harvest.
Are you referring to his trial against The Brotherhood Without Banners? He damn near cut the guy in half, but he was brought back by the monk. Good reference to it here http://gameofthrones.wikia.com/wiki/Beric_Dondarrion That site doesn't contain spoilers either, it only references what has happened on the show.
He was King Robert's Master of Coin . . .so he would have to know [Revealed in Season 1] Rocket River
Yea I'm pretty sure if Baelish didn't know about it he wouldn't have aligned himself with the Tyrell's so easily.
Actually yeah, it fits perfectly. Tywin said the last gold mine ran dry 3 years ago, the series starts, what, one or two years ago (in the GoT timeframe)? littlefinger might have realised where the wind was blowing quite early on, when the Lannisters lost their main source of income, and in fact, I'm betting he might have exacerbated this by borrowing heavily and urging nice expensive spectacles. Petyr Baelish = Frank Underwood of Westeros.
I think he just seems that way because you are now getting to watch him make that sausage when before you just saw it arrive on the table. I think it was fairly flawless how he managed to get out of the capital to have an alibi for when the King was murdered and at the same time setting himself up in a position to be the Lord of the Vale now that he's married then murdered Lysa all the while holding the key to the North in the eldest living Stark. We know his ultimate plan is to take over the 7 kingdoms....I'd say his plan is coming together pretty well.
apparently they can show us boobs that are completely irrelevant to the plot line but can't show Khaleesi's boobs when its relevant. I don't like it one bit. Her agent probably renegotiated her contract to no nudity now that she's all big and stuff.
Read about this somewhere, she won't do any nude scenes in order to not have her acting/role reduced to looks/nudity.
