They can be in moderation and that doesn't mean that it's the only way to have fun. I rarely imbibe but I like to do so. These threads have just been really condescending mostly by people that will very likely change their tune once they finally get some hair on their balls.

I really do not care either way if mar1juana is legal or not. Unlike hard drugs, mar1juana does not make people dead beats. My observation is the dead beats are usually the ones who make smoking a big deal.

The only thing I smoke is ribs, brisket and the occasional cigar with scotch. I don't get the weed love, especially out here in Eugene.

OP, please tell us about everything you do and don't care for. All in separate threads of course. Drugs, broccoli, cancer, fireworks, 3D movies, CNBC, Jamba Juice, strip malls, artificial limbs, 40 hour work week, St Augustine grass, Las Vegas, and many more things. I don't know whether you care for these things or not and it's driving me mad. Pls help OP.

Yeah, I have to say I don't get it. I think it's fine that you start a thread like this. It's the Hangout, after all, and you're just saying you don't enjoy something that everyone assumes everyone enjoys. Maybe it's just because I'm sympathetic on this topic. It is weird that it makes people so defensive. Maybe some are feeling a little... paranoid?
This writes like a propaganda piece for DARE. You seem like such a joy to be around. I'm thinking somewhere in the Middle East is the place for you. No drugs and no alcohol. I'm not saying it's not ok to not like those things. But you seem to look down upon those that do. You just want to justify if by making sure there are others that agree with you.
