I kinda got that feeling as well...that McHale likes Love (he drafted him, after all). But what Love feels about McHale and Houston, I don't know. But don't Love and Harden have a pretty good relationship?
I think that's mean Love and McHale have respect for each other and they have worked together numerous of times when McHale was with Minnesota organization. They have enjoyed working together. I am not sure about that, though.
Love would not agree to resign with the Celtics or Suns. You have to ask what the bulls, warriors and contending teams that chase him have to offer, and can any of those teams offer more then us? Parsons, Asik, Jones, two 1st Rd picks and multiple 2nd Rd picks, is a pretty solid package for a disgruntled superstar who will only resign with a serious contender.
I was under the impression that the Lakers wouldn't be able to trade their 2014 lotto pick since they did those trades with the Suns. I might be wrong but if someone can shed some light on that that would be great.
That's great but I doubt Love is willing to sign with the Suns/Celtics long term so there goes that. The is no other team that can/will offer more for Love that also fits his criteria of playing for a contender. So sure the some teams can offer the moon for Love but they won't cause they have no shot at signing him longterm.
Exactly. Not a surprise at all, especially Love since he is who the Rockets really want. Of course they will make every effort to get him.
Love strong bond with McHale Rockets already plan to retain McHale for next season Damn Morey...always three moves ahead
I have a hard time imagining a scenario where Parsons, a late first rounder, and our roster flotsam is anywhere close to the best offer Minnesota will get.
Kevin McHale has strong bonds with both Kevin Love and Kevin Garnett. The Rockets should focus on getting more bigs name Kevin.
Parsons, Omer to a 3rd team to grab a 1st rounder to send to Minny, and 2 1sts. I think that tops a GS deal of Barnes/Lee and a Chicago deal, probably wouldn't top a PHX deal but not sure Kevin would resign there.
