Amazing how you guys come up with these ideas about 2 athletes who the potential to be very good and that's about it.

As one person has already stated, these guys have yet to play one minute in an actually NBA game, but you want to trade a guy who has shown he has the talent and skills to be one of the best in today's game.

    Just amazing...

this is the voice of reason. it's a helluva trade Daryl would dream for. but in reality, no team would make this deal with him.

This message board is getting out of hands. The Harden hate for his playoff performance is fine, but this is just stupid. This board is littered with hate for it's 24 yr old superstar. Hello ppl Dwight's Howard is great and a big time superstar and guess what? He wouldn't be here without Harden.

James Harden is 24 ppl he just put up his second season of 25+ ppg 5 reb and 6 assists. While posting a 23 PER and having back to back top 5 win share seasons. Ohh ya and KD and lebron are the only two other players to do that. Only 7 players in nba history have had better seasons than him at his age. All of them are HOF players.

Harden for sure has holes in his game that need to be fixed. But at 24 you have to give him the benefit of the doubt because he's such a special talent. This guy can do it all on the court. Iv personally seen him look like the best player in the nba on many nights. I truly believe he'll get there because every other player before him that has played this we'll at this age has gotten "it". You gotta believe he will plus he plays on the home team dammit lol.

Also no one from this draft will be Better than harden. Wiggins is gonna be a major let down and Jabari is a Paul pierce clone. I like exum and the KU big embid but other than that this draft isn't as strong as once believed.

That's all you needed to say. Trading ANY known commodity for an unknown is risky at best. And we're supposed to buy that some posters really WANT to trade one of the best SGs in the league for a chance of something better? I've said it time and time again. Harden is far from perfect but he's an elite talent that is not easily replaceable.

You have if not top 5 at least top 10 player in the league and under 25 years old.

Makes no sense to trade him on the hopes that Parker or Wiggins essentially become that.

This team is built to win now, why would you want to rebuild?

    That's right, guys.

There's absolutely no way in hell these positions are interchangeable.

James Harden is a 2, he's never played a minute at the 3-spot.

Even if 1 of these 3 do end up being better than Harden as overall players, which in my opinion is less than a 25% chance, you have to ask your self at what year do they surpass Harden.

It sure as hell isn't going to be in any of the first 3 years of their careers. Hell even if I knew for sure that one of these guys would eventually become better overall players than Harden I would probably put it around year 5 or 6 for any of those guys. Which I will remind you will be when Harden will still only be 29-30.

All I hear about is people griping about wasting Howard's prime years, you make a trade like this you might as well ship Howard out as well because he isn't going to be anywhere close to his peak by the time any of these 3 are actually ready to do anything serious in the post season.

I can destroy this post of yours so easily and make you look dumber than the OP, but I'd rather not waste my time so I'll just say two words: You're wrong.

Someone forgot to tell the OP that the Rockets trying to win a NBA Championship with Dwight Howard, they were trying to win it right now.

There's something called rebuilding, which the Rockets are NOT doing.

I hear Riley wants to swap the previous Lebron for him.
