The Pacers have been sleep walking by playing bad basketball for more than 3 months. They have been lucky that they werent burned...or just the result of playing in a garbage eastern conference. That being said, perhaps this can be a moment that they turn up their focus and beat their nemesis in the Heat. But I went with the Heat in 6 because this is what bad teams do...

Losing at game 1's home twice...check
Losing at home for closeout games...check
    Behind in a series...check
    Scoring ineptitude...check
    Teammate hostilities...check
    Bad losses...check

The Heat on the other hand have been playing very good basketball. Sure they have relied on James much more than previous years, but they still manage to get timely contributions from everyone else. As much as I would like to see the upset, the Heat now believe they can win any time they want and have a tremendous mental advantage over the Pacers.

win or lose, I think it's probably a good idea if I stay out of the DISH this round (or at least this series thread). there's a strong chance I'd get suspended/banned lol.

Wow, the hate for the Heat has shown some strong bias in this thread. I'm no Heat fan either - I've rooted for the Pacers to beat the Heat in the playoffs these last few years. But there is no way the Pacers can win this series unless LeBron can't play - even then I question if they could win..

Like sugarlndkid said.. the Pacers have been struggling for months, not just in the playoffs. They've been blown out, have locker room issues, etc. I just don't see how they can win the series.

    Heat in 6.

I'd like to see Indiana win if they also win the finals. If they go on to lose, I'd rather see LeBron vs KD. I voted Miami in 7 but forgot that IND has HCA. Would have likely voted Miami in 6, had I remembered.

    Pretty much this

Seriously . .. . . back at this time last year
folx pencil the Heat to be this years champ
    and
    next years

The lack of any true competition is boring

So . . .the Leastern conference playoff
    is like watching REC Ball
cause u know none of them were going to the championship
not only were they not going
they didn't even have a real chance at all . ..

17.3% picked the Pacers to win. I think you might be overreacting just a little bit.

If someone has missed over 25 games with a knee injury, how is it somehow wrong to point out that you would like to make him run around a lot, in case he can't handle it?

It's not wrong and it's not right. It's just the need to make headlines + Lance is they type of player that is easy to hate if he's not on the team your root for.

Its not wrong, but it also just motivated Wade a crap load. Wade has been taking a major backseat the last couple of years. He can be dominant force but conserves his energy and lets Lebron do the rest. Stephenson is an idiot by giving him the motivation he needs especially when Miami wasn't going to take Indiana that seriously in the first place.

I don't believe in that motivation theory. Wade will try hard no matter what Lance says. And Wade will succeed/fail based on 1) whether his shot is falling 2) Miami's ball movement 3) whether other shooter's shots are falling for spacing purposes and 4) Indy's defense. But no one can prove things one way or the other when it comes to the effect of bulletin board material, so whatever.
