Breaking: Kevin Love " I'v decided to demand a trade from the timberwolves, inability to win and lack of talent is cause for my departure. Thats why i have decided to take my talents to the lakers, a team much worse and further away from winning anything then the one i am currently on!!"

    Makes sense.

Although I suppose the Lakers win the lottery, have their pick of the next "star"(Wiggins?, Parker?, Exum?), re-sign Gasol, Kobe already there and suddenly things are on the "up"!

I think that would, except I doubt they would want Lin back in that scenario. If Les is ok with biting the bullet, it would make sense to just keep him and not lose an asset in order to ship him out.

Obviously the last has to be a joke. But dream on.

There is no way Love is seriously considering the Lakers or the Knicks. Both situations are horrible and probably worse than Minnesota.

I don't think you do the deal without assurances he is going to sign an extension, but come on, he would in that situation. He would be ridiculed if he left that for the Lakers and the hope they recruit another top player when he has a team with 2 of the top 10 players already.

If we trade with Timberwolves to get Love, I hope McHale would be included as part of the trade package.

If love is serious about winning he shouldn't consider Lakers or NYK.

Chicago and Houston are much better options for him.

Kevin Love would be great if we somehow managed to nab him. Gives us an elite 4 man who forces teams to guard him.

He might not be a barnburner on defense but he does force the opposing 4 to guard him expending his energy. Having such a player would have been great against LMA and the Blazers.

Realistically though would Minnesota take a package of Asik+Lin with 1st round picks? That remains to be seen, I'm not sure including Terrence would be all that helpful either.

Or we could get McHale to impersonate Pat Riley and tell Kevin to be firm and opt out to sign with us in the offseason.

There's no winning this and there's no safe way to get him.

Waiting for 2 years to get him is dumb. Trading for him is dumber. Kevin Love is testing the FA market in his career. It's something all superstars like to do, but don't have a chance to do in their primes.

    Kevin Love

The Lakers would have to kick Kurt Rambis to the curb, to bring Kevin Love in (Love and Rambis don't get along).

Wanting to win but prefers the Lakers or Knicks? This does not compute.

Different spin on the same report, this one with a Chicago air (not surprising, considering the source is csn Chicago); interesting though, nonetheless, as they mention the Fakers and Knicks but not a word about Houston where I believe he'd be a perfect fit.

There wasn't really any mention of Dwight Howard going to Houston outside of Houston until the all star break, there wasn't really any mention of Carmelo other than NY and LA until about the all star break either. It's just how the media works.

He's probably not coming here if McHale is still here. Having getting a chance to experience a great coach like Adelman up in Minne probably has him targeting teams with competent coaches.

Someone should Photoshop the background and the jersey, then send it to Morey.

A friend of mine down here in So Cal is Love's cousin (yes I have proof that they are related) he has stated from the first day that I met him that his number one spot is going to be LA. I think it will take a lot for him to go somewhere else. He is from here and wants to come back.

I know it's something easy to figure out, but at least that's what I know from someone who talks to him on a regular basis.

You think McHale is not? Dude has been exposed as a "Rah-Rah, aw shucks, hey guys play harder!" kind of coach.

Where the hell does "not an X's and O's Coach" term even come from? F that.

McHale is my nightmare. I don't care what people say about his "bringing Howard" to Houston. I don't buy it anymore and neither should Dwight.

He was THOROUGHLY out-coached in the POR series. It sickens me that we have such awesome potential being led by this windbag. We have Dwight, they had Sideshow Bob. We should not have lost that series. Disgusting.
