Exactly. That organization is going to be a mess for some time.

He brings the one thing I think we need. . . .ATTITUDE

Pierce is a competitor. This is why he IMO was better than TMAC
TMAC had skills. . . but Pierce had heart

If he were to leave Brooklyn it would be to Doc. Just sayin', if Doc didn't want him, and Nets didn't as well, why would Rox?

When TMac was still playing it was before PP had heart, that came later along with KG and Mr J Shuttlesworth - - and Doc made four.

    he ALWAYS had heart
    just didn't have a team.

He took a team with ANTOINE WALKER as the second best player
    [Wasn't it to the finals????]
further than TMAC did with YAO FRICKING MING!

2001–2002 season, Pierce and Walker took the team to the Eastern Conference finals.

Lol clippers are going to get PP in a gift rap and a bow.

In LA, his home town, plus LA/California is a much better place to live then
    Houston/Texas.

Clippers have Doc Rivers, nuff said.

Clippers are a better team then us, better record, better coach, better player and made it further then us into the second round in the playoffs.

Just no chance he signs anywhere else unless 1 the clippers dont want him, 2 he has personall issues with sterling or someone on the team, 3 he gets offered a big contract by some desperate team. All of which are highly unlikely.

Not interested unless its for the minimum.

    We need a wing defender.

I disagree. PP had the talent but not the head and heart. That came later.

PP + AW with O'Brien had a magical run, short-lived, proving their talent.

Danny Ainge, this week, was talking about Rondo (this Board's lustbaby) and his maturation process analogizing it to PP. He said that Pierce became a leader at 30, and a better one at 32. He was not talking about trips off-court in wheel chairs to return moments later.

Yes, Pierce on this Rox squad would have a place. But the truth is there is no Truth coming here. Four places only: Brooklyn (likely), Clips (maybe), C's (eh, longshot), retirement (possible).

And yes, that is fact - - based upon my opinion.

There is no mess. Only repercussions.
It's not that Sterling was handling business anyway.

He should be staying out of that place and everything is business as usual.

Would love him as a veteran in that Delfino role but I have a feeling that the Rockets have more important moves to make first. Let's see what happens and then come revisit PP of he's still on the market when the time is right.

    Were you even around then?

Yao played like trash when he wasn't injured before 2009.

As far as I know setting injuries aside (06, 08) 05 refs infamously gave the series to Dallas, 07 T-Mac played is HEART out and Yao just got destroyed by Boozer
