Good question though - what's a comparable superstar - one who wasn't able to get to semifinals in 10 seasons?

I think you underrate how stacked the Clips are.

One of the better centers

Clippers aren't as stacked as people make them out to be.

Stacked with a bunch of jump shooters which gets you how far in the playoffs?

 

Westbrook and Parker are better overall players than Paul. Because of their explosiveness and ability to score. Paul is a great PG but doesn't have the tools to be as relentless, especially against top teams.

Did those stacked guys come through this series? Jamal Crawford was inconsistent and he is the biggest x-factor on the Clippers by far.

Blake Griffin while improved still needs to improve his post game. He was pretty inefficient this series and he is the 2nd best player on the Clippers

I understand, that's a great point you make. But I dislike the fact that he had to go to another team to do all this. It would have been pretty neat, to have someone of his caliber, do all that with just one franchise (even if it was Cleveland) just like MJ and the Bulls, or Kobe and the Lakers, or Duncan with the Spurs, than to go to another team with another star who already had a ring (Wade). IMO, if you're that great a player, you make other players come play where you are.

last 5 games Jamal Crawford shot 32%, I like Mal Craw but if that is elite help this series than I don't know what to say.

Or some of you going to blame Chris Paul for Jamal Crawford playing like ass.

 

I would take out that Supposedly for Doc. Other than (easily) Pops in SA, the only active coach I might want to choose over Doc would be Rick Carlisle

 

Just b/c you're stacked doesn't mean you'll win. Heat lost to the Mavs no? It's a team game, and a lot of factors come into play.

My point is, this team was stacked. No reason they should suck on defense like they did. No reason they should play with a lack of energy at times like they did. Exchanging WB and CP3 b/t the teams won't guarantee OKC would win.

Reason Clips lost b/c they suck on defense and in the games they lost, they lack energy. And you know those are some things WB will never lack.

I think what it boiled down to was a few brain farts by CP3 and Matt Barnes in the last game.
