And it was on our sidelines where the ball was being inbounded. They could have at least yelled at Tjones to obstruct the backcourt passing lanes.

Silence is the best option in this situation, what will Morey's confirmation of no decision do any good to the Rockets?

Guys who have done it on this team. I'm sorry that I don't think bringing in Dream & Elie was a totally stupid idea. LOL.

Warriors improved from 15th to 4th in defensive efficiency by acquiring Igoudala, which made them a legitimate contender. This is what suppose to happen by adding a max contract defensive specialist. Now they just acquired one of the hottest coaches by committing 5 year/$25m.

Meanwhile, Rockets got WORSE defensively by adding a max contract multiple DPOY player. The defensive efficiency went from 1.028 to 1.031 ppp by having Dwight. If this does not send a big red flag to our FO, I don't know what will. If Rockets pick up McHale's option, I see serious repercussion from fans for Morey and Les if Rockets do not drastically improve next year. Despite Les financial commitment to winning, it's not what's been advertised.

Warriors took a gamble on Jackson and now Kerr. High risk, high reward. Meanwhile, the Rockets gambled on a known bad head coach rather than a Mario Elie, Cassell or who else there have you. Time to take a gamble!!

Uhhh if you look at opponents fg% (which is a better indication of team defense), the Warriors were good defensively before acquiring Iggy and we got a lot better since acquiring Dwight (were top 5 before his injury).

do u not remember how terrible defensively we were last year???

except Shane doesn't like Morey and our FO. He was legitimately pissed when he got traded.

It won't work. He's too much of a family man. He can't and won't be dedicated 24-7. He has a beautiful kid to raise. This explains mchale too. You need somebody obsessive that doesn't cut any slack.

Wait you see adding Kerr as a plus for GS? He is a rookie head coach and is signed for 5 year for 25m. I think most people see this more as a mistake than as a good move.

What has Kerr done that makes us think he iwill be a great coach? He sure made great moves when he was with the Suns as a GM:eek:

Battier was going to go after a ring. Whether he was pissed off, at being traded or not. He was playing poorly at the time, he was traded. Surprisingly we started playing better with C-Bud in the starting lineup, without him.

Mario Elie is a better choice than Shane. He is smart and tough. He will be an ideal assistant, especially for Harden. Unfortunately, Morey can't see beyond the length of his nose right now.

morey got us another superstar tho

team assist went down also, turnovers went up, that was the big problem with asik he couldnt catch and finish but our starting PG only had 2 assist per game, when last yr our starting PG had 6 pergame with the worse hands in the NBA at center.

Kerr- I wouldnt get too hype over that one tho

We added Dwight, but lost Asik for a good chunk of the year. If Asik stays healthy then I would bet our defensive numbers on the season would have been atleast better than last year, how much so who knows. If you really look at it last year we were essentially injury free, while this year just about everyone in the rotation missed a chunk of games.

Still think our defense should have been better than what it was, but when you compare one year to the next you have to take in account the difference in games missed by your rotation guys.

Mchale may be asking for a contract extension instead of being a lame duck coach next season. And that is why there is no decision coming out yet.

Morey specifically stated earlier in the year that they'd like to bring Battier into the front office. That tells me that their relationship is more than fine.

The Warriors gave up multiple draft picks and gave up any future payroll flexibility to get Iggy.

The Rockets won 9 more games than last year after adding Howard.

The Warriors added a rookie coach, and had to over pay him based on the fact there are so few quality coaches available.

If McHale is pulling a D'Antoni, then the Rockets need to call his bluff and have him step down. To give him an extension at any point between now and next May after he's led the Rockets to at least the WCF would be insane.
