Hopefully he'll turn back into the team player that we've praised for over a decade. People will forgive a momentary lapse of bearing and the resulting temper tantrum so long as it's temporary and he fixes himself.
Not all fans are disgusted by him. I for one am not. Andre is human and its understandable that losing has taken a toll on him. He needs this time to unwind and get his head straight for training camp.
Like I said. He gets to stay here and play for all of you "loyal" fans. Dude said he didn't ask for more money or a trade and you guys throw a fit. Lol...
I'd like to chime in on the Peyton talk...absolutely no way we could have signed him unless we removed a few of our stars...Foster, Cushing, etc... We were in cap hell at the time and had no flexibility.
I guess not everyone can care so little about the franchise that they don't mind a star player all of a sudden talking about abandoning the franchise right after a successful draft.
Using the media during a charity event is not the way to display displeasure with his situation. It was unnecessary. I understand his frustrations, but he needed to handle it better. The Texans dont owe him anything, they have been just as loyal to him as he has been to the franchise. In fact, theyve probably been more loyal. That kind of stuff needs to be kept behind closed doors...you dont wait until a week after the draft and lay it out there. Glad he's getting back in line and remaining with the team.
I just don't believe we're winning 10 plus games and making the playoffs this year or next. I actually do care. I'm just not a blind faith fan for this organization because they've done nothing to deserve that. But that's just me.
Are you talking about me.... Or the people who are crying all through this thread about Dude's comments...???
Do you think Alex Smith is that much better than Fitzpatrick? Maybe some, but definitely not by a lot. If we surrounded Fitzpatrick with an extra 30 million dollars in talent, both on offense and defense, to this current roster, anything less than 10 wins is a disappointment. This season 7 wins or less is a disappointment, while 8 or 9 wins is what should be expected. Even Vegas agrees.
Yes, so many people have shed tears over the comments. Dont be so sensitive...just bc there is a differing viewpoint doesnt mean people are crying. Or, if they are crying, you're crying with the other view point.
Yes... I think Alex Smith is better than Fitzpatrick. And I also think Charles is better than Foster. If they win 7 games I would be happy. But I'm not expecting much more than that. I think O'Brien is going to need a little time.
Yes, but your rush to defend him showed your sensitivity. It's okay if some people arent on their knees in front of Andre. It'll be okay, I promise.
My take is almost everyone get frustrated with their job at some point. You can only hold back for so long. After a while you have to let some steam off and that what AJ did. Give it time and things will work themselves out. After all didn't Dream ask to be traded before the Rockets went on their championship runs?
