So you would have preferred that he step to a podium in front of all the media and state "I'm demanding a trade"? When would you have preferred him say something? During the preseason? The way the other AJ thread is going people are definitely calling him a bad human being and bringing into question his overall caring. That JJ Watt has topped him in that department? The way I see it, he can still be a Texan after all this. It's just a matter of hashing things out.
"AJ is not loyal and he's not a class act. He's a baby and he's crying. Get him da hell out of here"... Lol... I guess fans just feel betrayed. But Dre has been here since the beginning. The best and only thing that Charlie gave us.
Maybe it was.... But he's human. You can't put these guys on a pedestal and expect them to always do what you think is the right thing. And as far as his timing... How do you know he hasn't already discussed this with Texans management...??? Because they may have already known what we are just now finding out.
I suspect this is just Andre's way of saying. Hey, rookie coach, you can't just come in here and tear down the accomplishments and contributions certain team players and coaches have made as if they mean nothing. Andre knows who he is what he has done for the franchise and wont be broken down like just any rook that just stumbled in. I typically can not get behind the 'you owe me', or 'I've earned special consideration' mind set. However, I just don't believe that's what Andre is about. He has always been a team player and I suspect he just thinks B'ob and the controlling individuals can do with a reminder.
People are getting way too butthurt way too quickly about his comments. You can't blame him for feeling that way. We suck. AGAIN! If he stays I'll be happy but if he goes we'll get little to nothing. Pretty much just cap relief, but again, WE SUCK. So I can't blame him for not wanting to be part of this rebuild. Again.
