/\ There are a great number of people who would wish to vote "yes" but won't because they'll get scrutinized. That "yes" number should probably be about 4 to 5 times higher. Some posters here have already threatened to impose a "ban" on all those voting "yes". What Lin fan would in their right mind and under those circumstances vote "yes"? This is not an accurate poll.

I agree that forum polls are not truly accurate.

But, with the changed Clutch made, that poll is actually somewhat accurate.

There are some troll voters in the poll, but once you removed them you'll see the result.

By the way, the poll was anonymous at first.

So the posters made their voices heard.

They didn't know they were voting public :p

Some of those votes were clearly troll votes though.

A team has no accountability in terms of defense ... a team with a head coach who always tries to find a scapegoat ... a team with a head coach creating sections among his own players ... a team with a big portion of iso/hero ball ...

That would typically be a team I would root AGAINST if it were not for JLin.

What I'm saying is ppl that hate Lin fans will now most likely think all Lin fans are even crazier than before. Very few are going to be thinking "oh.. maybe they're not all that bad or that numerous, just couple really crazy ones" or anything. It's human nature to remember things that agree with your preconceptions ("Lin fans are crazy") rather than disagree with them ("Lin crazies are numerous")

    Why are you still here?

Lin fans are all for iso/hero ball when it's Jeremy handling the ball. What was Linsanity? How quickly you forget.

    Because Lin is still here.

Iso/Hero ball is about 1 vs 5. It does not matter who has the ball. Hell, if Lin plays hero ball, I would boo him. On the contrary, his plays are mostly for the team, finding the open shooter or cut lanes. He made Novak/Tyson Chandler look good at NY, didn't he? That's why I am currently rooting for the Spurs, a true ego-less team.

The pinnacle moment of Linsanity was Lin waiving off all his teammates, going iso hero ball mode and jacking up a 3 to win the game vs Toronto.

    You cheered.

Typically in clutch time, when there is only 7 seconds to come up with a play, you don't have the time to find the best shot possible. You give your ball to the clutchiest player on the team. Hero/iso ball only has its place in situation like that.
