Nah, if we had an elite QB like Joe Flacco, the 28 points our offense scored would have been enough to win because super elite QB's cause the defense to hold the Pats to 13 points. Unfortunately we had Schaub who made the defense give up 41 points so we lost.

I have never once said that Andre wants more money. Not one time. When I say it's always about the money, it's in reference to when players are whining about not winning. If winning is that important, then these players would give up millions of dollars to make sure the team is better. However, that's not the case. And I never blame the player for taking the money, because I'd do the same damn thing.

Would Andre play for the Patriots at 1 million dollars or play for the Texans at 12 million dollars? I guarantee, just like every other person, Andre takes the Texans. Nothing wrong with that. But, that's what it means when people say, "Its always about the money".

The Patriots put up over 400 yards on that defense also... Baltimore's defense wasn't that good that year. But Joe Cool had no turnovers and didn't F up the game for his team.

Like I said. Can't just throw any quarterback in there and expect to win. And that is why Schaub is no longer here.

LOL, so a team that gave up 13 points against the most dominant offense in the history of the NFL "wasn't that good"? Heh, that's one theory.

You're the one who keeps talking about the "money" Dawg...

And no response to the "play for $1 million" comment. But I bet if the Texans cut Dre. He would take less to go play for a winner. And if they trade him to a contender he probably would restructure his contract if he had to.

And Baltimore's defense was ranked 17th that year... But yet you call that elite... Go figure.

AJ needs to put this BS distraction to bed publicly. The Texans haters aka Cowboys fans are having a field day with this.

Does it matter how they performed in the regular season? They stopped the most dominant offense the NFL has ever seen cold. If the Texans defense had done that, they'd have been in the SB. They couldn't.

Money has nothing to do with the issue...my opinion on the topic has never had anything to do with the money. The only time Ive brought up money was when Ive said the Texans have paid him well and redone his contract a couple times, which has showed the Texans loyalty to him. I think the organization has treated him as well as they can treat anybody.

And like Ive said, the teams go from crap to the top within a season in the NFL...there is no guarantees with anything, so players will always take the money. No way Andre takes a pay cut to play for another team or another "winner".

And the Giants were 27th when they won their last superbowl...but, come playoff time, they played at an elite level.

Total defense is misleading in today's NFL. It's all about turnovers and points off turnovers.

Baltimore's defense gave up over 30 points to Denver and San Francisco during their super bowl run as well... That isn't elite.

Right, but the point is that you need your defense to shut down elite QBs if you want to win a Superbowl. Whether it's by turnovers, points of turnovers, sacks, etc... the defense needs to be elite.

Ed Reed Baby had their number... They still gave up a gang of points to Denver and San Francisco.

And they should have lost that game to Denver because of it. If the safety doesn't blow the easy interception then the Ravens post-season dies in Denver. Good luck is part of any post-season run.

And thus, the reason anything can happen once you make the playoffs.

Players can skip mandatory events, training camp and the preseason without losing money. Skipping games results in a loss of game checks. He has no plans to attend mandatory events according to reports.

It depends on what his contract looks like. Most contracts have bonuses for off-season events and camp that he'd lose out on if he chose not to show up.

Exactly. Because Raiders fans are still saying they should have went to the super bowl instead of New England when Brady fumbled. And Seattle was doing a BUNCH of holding in the playoffs last year. We can go on and on.

Just the same... If they trade Dre... I hope Nuk is as good as you say he is since you said Sammy Watkins would play second fiddle in the NFL to him. And Clowney better come in playing like his hair is on fire...

Yes, we can go on and on about how much luck is a factor in post-season runs, but we don't need to. Everyone knows that to be the case.

There's no reason to trade Andre, so you can stop fantasizing about it. Your boy Watkins has been exiled to Canada where no one will ever hear from him again. Johnson and Hopkins will make a good one-two punch this season for whoever QB's the Texans and you are just going to have to deal with that.
