Nice pitching so far by Keuchel. BTW, am I the only one noticing there arent any bandwagon Rangers fans at the game like last season? Dont tell me they already gave up on the team. LOL
They've had quite a bit of turnover from their pennant-winning teams...with losing Hamilton/Wilson, getting rid of Young, watching Napoli win a ring elsewhere, then trading Kinsler. Its basically just Andrus/Beltre left from the hitters... and Colby Lewis from the pitchers. Rangers (or most Texas fans) in general lost track of who to root for with all the changes. Plus, its been 3 years since they were on the cusp of winning it all... they likely don't get that close again with this regime.
Could it be they are hiding in the seams given that they haven't had anything to cheer about tonight?
Springer has 3 walks. Carter has 3 hits, including an infield single. Neither of them have struck out. Where am I?
Alternate reality? Tonight does seem like a different team took the field tonight. Its as if they exchanged mojo with their opponent.
Skip: What's our record, Larry? Larry: 12-27 Skip: 12......and 27? How'd we ever win 12? Larry: It's a miracle. Skip: It's a miracle. This...this is a simple game. You throw the ball. You hit the ball. You catch the ball. It is indeed a mirace, tonight they have managed to do all 3 of these things in the same game. Loving this game.
