    So did Michael Sam choose #96 because it is so close to #69 and he is trying to brainwash us all into being gay? I'm offended that he can choose a number that forces us to make a comparison to a repulsive act, particularly when committed by two men.

    People buy jerseys for all sorts of reasons - I'm pretty sure lots of crappy players have jerseys. Does it really make any more sense to wear a jersey with some other dude's name on it because they are good at football?

    In the 80's it was a gay man's disease. I wouldn't really compare people fighting and dying for civil rights with gays, particularly in the 80's, dying of AIDS from unprotected, promiscuous sex. Geeeez.
