I watched all 3 seasons over the span of a week or so. Damn, why didn't anyone tell me this show was so good? I had no idea. Very much looking forward to the return in May. FWIW - On an episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, Louis mentioned that he'd probably do the show for 7-8 seasons. So hopefully we get at least 4 more seasons out of this show.
It's about time this show comes back on, might be my favorite show that I watch on time and not reruns or dvd/bluray.
I absolutely loved the 1st season of this. But I thought the 2nd season was awful. I was lucky if I laughed at all during an episode. I didn't bother watching season 3 after that. Anyone here that didn't like season 2 and would still advise me to watch season 3?
Anyone watch last night's season premiere? I thought they were very strong episodes. Yvonne Strahovski!
I loved the surreal beginning of the first episode. It really does feel like the garbage men are doing that sometimes.
I lost touch in the last season but watched last night. Thought they were great episodes. And, yes, Yvonne Strahovski. It could have been an hour of just her standing there next to Louie and I would've been happy.
The first episode last night was good, but would have been better had the fat girl speech been just a bit shorter. The point was well made long before Louie grabbed her hand. The second episode was good. It's the first episode of a 6-part story arc, so I like that. And the episode after that arc should be good too (you can see it on Wikipedia, but don't want to post the title of it here in case someone thinks it's a spoiler).
Season 4 has been very disappointing so far. Didn't like the last one with the large mass woman complaining about holding hands and all this stuff that went way too long to end the show. I get it, big girls need love too. I don't mind her being a recurring character in the show but the fat stuff gets tiring.
Not the first time she's shown up actually and they've never mentioned whether the kids are adopted, think it's just a random thing Louie threw in there.
yea. . . just a talking point Her new 'husband' looks like a downgraded version of louie LOL Rocket River
IIRC, they had a white woman play her in season 1. He said something along the lines of "I can do what ever I want" when asked about it in an interview that I saw a couple years ago. He understands that it doesn't make sense and might be confusing, he just doesn't care.
