    Awesome. Just awesome.

It's really hard to fathom the regression from the players we all thought would progress and make this team suck less. I realize that there is still a dearth of talent, but at what point do you start to look at Porter? The constant stream of fundamental mistakes and bad decision making points you directly at the manager. The losing mentality has taken over and it might be time to make a change...even if it's just for the sake of making a change.

FWIW, most PETCOTA and prospectus-type sites projected a big regression from Castro this year.

Still wasn't as bad as he is right now... and he'll likely improve towards the mean as the season goes on.

According to ESPN's WAR ratings, the three lowest WARs of qualified first basemen are playing in our game tonight. Fielder actually has the lowest at -.4 while Guzman and Krauss have -.3 respectively. Though, if you combine Krauss and Guzman (Krauzman?) they combine for a WAR of -.6 (amazing math skillz) in only 7 more at bats than Fielder.

Castro is closer to the Mendoza line than a Allstar I am afraid to say.

Ouch. Castro's strikeouts have been way up this season. He's been hosed on some bad called strikes, but he's also had a big problem chasing breaking balls in the dirt.

Keuchel ALMOST tied a record. Just struck out the side on 10 pitches.

    I guess I shouldn't look here. MLB.TV app has a delay. :(

Happy about the result though.

Astros lineup performing like a functional unit? Must be a pitcher injury...

And those two strike calls were well outside... thought we were watching Maddux or Glavine pitcher from the early 90's.

Surprised he basically threw him the same pitch 3 times in a row.

Hope this ump gives that outside corner to Kuechel... if so, this game is over.
