So should this thread started out talking about the show and now is just whining about book readers in it? I could be wrong, I only read the last five pages.
Khalessi needs to designate a Hand. Her playing Judge Judy is what Queens do... rule on every freakin case. And it's been four seasons, book readers just can't help themselves. They must constantly remind everyone that they read the books. I think it's an illness called "being an asshat".
Khaleesi needs to spread her legs or take off her shirt. The tension is killing me. I mean...this is HBO tbfh.
Well, episode 6 definitely better than five... But still a little disappointing. Frankly only better because of how it ended. Dinklage is so good. Otherwise another ho hum episode. The Stannis storyline was a little more interesting finally. Ramsey/theon... Don't care really.

We can't help ourselves because they are very long, difficult reads that spanned many years. While you have had a total of 10 hours a year invested for the last 3 years, we have had 100's of hours invested over more than a decade. We read the books when no one knew what it was about. We kept reading when we didn't have a clue what was going on and few people to really discuss it with. Now that GoT's is a cultural phenomenon we CAN discuss it and yes it is difficult not to do so. I will grant you that there are posters that are being "asshat(s)" (the few posts I've had in here has given you that much) but there are others that just enjoy the fact that others are being open to the universe and can now see the discussions taking place. I think that it is safe to say that there are dumbasses on both sides of this TVOF vs BOF rap battle of history. ***cough*** CJLarson ***cough***
Totally understandable, but for those dummies being cute, we're on the internet where people don't have to post the first thing that comes in their mind. I'll grant that this thread is getting better than others on the net, but I hate having to think about everything I'll read on here has the potential to be leaked by some 4 year old pea brain who can't filter from book and show while they self delude themselves into thinking their spoiler end assumption is some master thought they made 5-10year ago. /1st world porblm
I'm kind of surprised at how this season seems to be going in general, given the way the previous season ended. What I mean is, the 'White Walkers' were on the move, ravens were sent out to every corner of the kingdom, even the 'woman in red' told Stannis that nothing mattered but this new enemy. There seemed to be a great deal of urgency about this, it was an imminent, looming threat. And yet now, we have seen them, what, once? At the end of that one episode where the mystery-iceman took the baby and made his eyes blue. AND, the White Walker who took the baby away on the horse appears the be the same one that Sam 'killed' with the dragon glass. But this season.. no one really seems purturbed by the looming White Walkers - especially the Black Watch, who seem to be more concerned with Mance than anything else. Even Sam is more concerned about wildlings than Walkers. Has anyone else noticed this? If 'Winter is Coming', it's coming pretty slowly, and nobody seems all that worried about it. I dunno, maybe that's just the way the stories are written.. I just kind of expected to have that threat sort of pressing down even more urgently, among everything else that's going on. Not saying I am not enjoying it - frankly I cannot wait for each new episode. Mainly I just wondered if anyone else has noticed this.. and also wanting to return the thread to the show and away from jibberjabbering about book readers and non-book readers..
focusing more on the political rangling than anything I too want more action . . .of the real sort but i like interesting characters Rocket River
