Leonard can easily average 20 points on another team. Dude has a very diverse offensive game.

I feel like this tempo is a little too fast for the Spurs. Parker and Ginobili have both missed layups they normally make.

I just think Portland seems to be a bit more focused...Dont count out the Spurs coming out very strong in the 2nd half...they know their bodies and I really doubt that they will not try closing this out tonight...

Yeah, I know I definitely don't want to give POR hope by them winning a game.

The Spurs have 9 4-0 sweeps in the Pop Era...Spurs are a machine that will just wear out a mentally weak Portland team...

Going to step in here and make my point.

Did any of you hear Reggie just describe what Pops does during the regular season? That Pops plays with his lineups and plays all different combinations of players so he can feel everything out.

That was my point as we were horsewhipping San Antonio during the season and many posters were saying that we needed to meet them in the playoffs ....that we could crush them. That was laughable then and it's hilarious to think about it now.

No way Jose. I could tell during those games that Pops was just probing, probing, finding stuff that works, then hiding it for the playoffs. Guys, you have to understand how good a basketball TEAM San Antonio is. That's a bunch of old men puttering around out there for the most part save for a couple guys like Kawhi and Patti Mills. Their main superstar players are old men.

Pops does the same thing every year. He fools around with the lineups, the minutes, the play-calling, the defensive scheme, until about 20 games are left in the season. Then he starts methodically hacking down his rotation and lineups to the most effective ones and they hit the playoffs rolling with all their guys well-rested.

San Antonio is a basketball machine. There is no way in hades we would have beat these guys. They most likely would have swept us.

PS: Just sitting here watching this game. Spurs are basically lollygagging out there. Missing shots. Nobody is really playing hard for them. Just toying with the Blazers right now. Portland is at home. They're all jacked up. Playing over their heads. Home crowd going nuts. They're busting tail on the defensive end. They're playing as good as they can play. And right now the Spurs are within 1. The Spurs will most likely end the Blazers season tonight. And if not tonight, they're going to run the Blazers to the point of exhaustion just to take this game. If the Blazers hang on tonight they'll most likely get blown out in game 5. You know it's coming. YOu can see it coming a hundred miles away.

What's scary is, even guys like Kawhi and Patty and Boris Diaw are seriously good in SA.

    A lineup of:

    Mills
    Bellinelli
    Leonard
    Diaw
    Splitter

would probably be 4th/5th/6th seed in the East, with Pop coaching.

They're likely going to be very good for a very long time. And Pau is thinking about going there? Annoying.

Blazers' playing their best ball in the series, and only a 2 point lead. The gap b/t these 2 teams is huge.

Here's Quick, the Blazers guy. He already knows.

I'm sure Pop has educated his guys on POR's entire team. Gimme a break, Kenny Smith.
