    Sorry, no disrespect.

Mike might be able to help him out but it starts with James himself. The effort, the want to, paying attention/not falling asleep and not scratching his head.

That's pretty silly. You don't hire someone just to assume failure next year and what will happen beyond failure. You hire someone to try and increase chances of success.

Brown would be a fine lead assistant/defensive mind. I'd be on board.

IF things go badly, nothing dictates that we even have to consider him for the head coaching spot. I don't think anyone would keep him if the team flopped

No no no no no. The future telling, experts of clutchfans have spoken. McHale is back so The Rockets WILL fail. I have also heard that the return of McHale will usher in the rise of satan.

I hear ya. I do like the fact that Harden has finally come out and admit how bad he really is on defense and to have that be his top priority this summer to work on.
I guess he finally saw that 11 minute YouTube video of his defense

All I'm saying is it would be nice to have a coach who actually won Coach of the year on our staff especially if his specialty is defense

Mike Brown may be the second to worst coach just behind McHale in the history of basketball. No I don't want this as a coach anything at all.

Hell no ... I want a new coach, not Mike Brown as an assistant coach. What's wrong with the front office. Have some balls. The Warriors fired Marc Jackson after game 7 and Marc Jackson wasn't even that bad. McHale is not even half of Marc Jackson in terms of coaching.

To me, it does not matter. The idea transcends exact casting and superficial visual characteristics.

I don't think Brown's baldness will mix well with McHales milky hair.

The bottom line is that Morey won't let "Moreyball" die..... So the organization is now trying to fix its problems while keeping a figurehead as head coach. Mike Brown will be Sampson's replacement, and who knows who will be Cooper's replacement..... (And I think Chris Finch won't go because he goes along with "Moreyball".)

I wouldn't be shocked if Morey keeps both Asik and Lin, because he won't acknowledge going after these two players with poison pill contracts was a mistake..............

This whole thing is a mess.......... CF has turned into a circus..... And I won't blame Rockets fans for staying away from Toyota Center next season.
