Do you think estates should be taxed if the deceased is leaving everything to charity?

Considering the state of this country's balance sheets, they would be leaving everything to "charity."

nuh uh, dead is dead < /proposition here>.

Just because you put coins on your eyes for your journey with Charon doesn't mean all that money you slavishly earned is going to end up exactly how you want it or will make you one less happier or sadder while you're six feet under.

While I can stretch some understanding of keeping as much fruits that came from growing my personal 'work' and 'property' tax/theft free, I can't with a straight face claim that it applies as much if I just willed that property to another person who didn't face any of the hardships or trials to earn it.

Oh right, I can't trust the government so I'll rationalize anything to circumvent the thought of an estate tax.
