Assistant coaches. There are a lot of good assistants who would like a shot as a head coach. They've been in the NBA for a long time and are experienced. No transition needed.
wtf is a daryl eto? what about a darryl lto? a late termination offer in case he makes a bad move, like bringing back mchale. lto that sht mang
The Hall of Famers aren't available. But there are plenty of really good, proven head coaches who are out there. I won't rehash the list since everyone knows who they are, but it's ludicrous for this organization to act like McHale's only problem is he needs more time or one or two better assistants.
Why is everyone saying these guys are scapegoats? If you can improve their positions, you do it. That's GM 101.
Eto was Mchale's guy, not Lin. Also, I don't think he'd dare bring anyone in this team and demand them to be employed. Only superstar players do that. I mean, he doesn't even consider himself a good player. Lin should listen to Dwight and get himself some confidence sometimes.
It says Eto finished his contract out. It doesn't sound like someone who was let go. My guess is, Eto changed his mind about the position at some point, and told the team he would still honor his contract. It could be why they felt the need to bring in Rogowski and basically have two trainers for the season. It was a transition period. Eto is not a young guy, so perhaps the travel schedule didn't suit him.

I'm interested in this. The hardest part was deciding to hit the squats/good mornings and be sore as hell or play basketball but never get better. To see results you cant weight lift during the season. It will throw your game off. It takes minimun 2 months of training to improve. All this cookie cutter **** doest work. Get under the bar
