There's no point in sending him back down to beat on Triple A pitchers. He's gonna have to learn how to swim, or he drowns. He actually has the 2nd highest OPS of our outfielders (sad isn't it) so we don't exactly have options
I think we need to see Blum with Brown. How can we judge Blum when he is stuck in the booth with someone as terrible as Ashby?
Frrom what I remember, it was a tough decision for him. He basically said he loved Houston and working with Brown, but "C'mon, it's the Chicago, it's the Cubs" and it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Hmmm: broadcast on a superstation (though that may change next year) for a team with a national following or broadcast in a city where only 40% of the people have access to the network.
