So players don't call audibles on the court? Durant sees a guy 10 inches shorter and he's lost? You blame that on the coach?

It's like Lebron getting shut down by the Mavs. That's on the player, not the coach.

Brooks is mediocre, but blaming a historic choke job entirely on the coach is a cop out.

Durant can't continue to settle for being a 6'10 perimeter player. He needs a more consistent post game to further polish his game. He's already close to unguardable but makes himself easier to stop at times for lack of consistent post game. He should be insulted by them putting CP3 on him.

KD has to figure out how to get the ball when he is defended by smaller players these playoffs are done for OKC. even if they advance Pop is going to throw a ton of guards on durant and grind him out

+1. Completely. KD should have taken that as a complete insult.

Again, expecting Durant to muscle his way into the post and seal CP3 meant the other players had to be spaced accordingly. durant is what, 24 and you expect him to be calling plays over his coach? every player, MVPs and HOF's, have weaknesses and you can't expect SHAQ to dribble to the perimeter or hit fadeaways when he's being doubled.

this is all on brooks for failing to adjust and expecting kd and russ to hit miracle shots (which they did, save for the buzzer beater) with the same damn play over and over again.

laughing at all the clowns who think this comeback was doc's doing because of a very, very obvious adjustment and crawford getting hot

Nobody is blaming Bonehead entirely. Stop exaggerating. But some of us have seen the same old thing the last 3 years.

You still think Doc is a bad coach? Listen to this guy:

Does Bill Simmons believe half the **** he says?

"You just don't know when that window is gonna close."

    ...few seconds later...

OKC is fine. This is just a bad loss.

"That MVP speech, that's gonna bring this team together and push them to the finals!"

why people make it sounds like Chris Paul guarded Durant one on one and limited him? all i saw was they doubled him once he touched the ball

CP3 led the league in steals. KD requires to dribble a lot before he shoots which makes him susceptible to problems getting picked. CP3 doing what superstars are supposed to do to win playoff games...and that is to want to take the defensive assignment vs the opponents best player. That's what Kobe, MJ, and Lebron did when they were in must win situations.

Instead of getting mad when they weren't running plays to him, Harden should have said he wanted to defend Lillard down the stretch. Until he can shut down superstars, he shouldn't be considered a superstar.

The problem is that I think Brooks has 2 years left on his deal at around 4 mil per. No way is OKC gonna eat that. If they'd lost to the Grizzlies, maybe. But not a second round defeat.

OKC is kind of the rich man's Rockets. They are a dumb team that is carried by superior talent.
