What is the deal with Ibaka hitting Blake in the groin?

Clippers are sleep-walking for some reason. But of the legit contending teams, OKC is the worst in the NBA at holding on to early leads. They will lose concentration soon and give it all back. That dumb 3 by WB just now is an example of why they will give it back.

Westbrook is just manhandling the Clippers right now.

And people thought the Clips would make it to the Finals possibly? Laughable. Lack of experience, and no defense are a bad combo.

Hate the notion of pulling your star when they have 2 fouls, but always thought Brooks was terrible at staggering WB and KD, and that sort of forced his hand to not allow the "no offense" lineup.

This game isn't over yet. Last time I checked there were 38 minutes left.

It also isn't "laughable" to think the Clippers would make the Finals. What's "laughable" is to start a thread named "A Star is Born" after the Blazers beat the Rockets.

No, it is laughable to think a team that plays little to no defense potentially making the Finals. That's like saying James Harden is the best player in the league. Doesn't matter if there are 38 minutes left. They haven't played defense one bit in the entire playoffs. What makes you think they'll suddenly play defense?

And is Liliard "not" a star right now? Him and his team just playing a better team, potentially the best team in the league. Clips and OKC are on par talent-wise, yet getting killed because they refuse to play a lick of defense.

Durant missing a ton of open shots here, could be blowing this game wide open.

OKC wasn't playing any defense down the stretch of the season either. They were getting cut to pieces.

Lillard was the same exact player after the Rockets series that he was all last season and as a rookie. The series didn't signify anything new. Nothing was "born". What Lillard has always done well is go for the jugular when he senses weakness. He has a killer instinct that is second to none. But when you knock him off kilter a bit, he uses poor judgement, falls to earth very hard and can play like trash (though he isn't trash as some here have called him).

"He didn't give Chris Paul his normal rest."

True... Brooks gave CP3 a rest by letting him stand around on defense guarding Fisher.

Blake has grown a lot this year. But until he grows into a more impactful defender/rebounder, the Clips aren't going anywhere.

Gotta bring WB back. The level of energy drops a ton without him.

Told ya. OKC got off to the good start because of hot shooting and lackadaisical effort by the Clippers. The big lead was fools gold.

In almost no time, a 22-point lead is down to four.
