The Florida summit with Alexander, Morey and McHale have apparently resulted in the management spotting and fixing the serious Dean Cooper problem. We must now ask how the team would have done had they understood the gravity of the problem & made the move earlier.

If not for Dean Cooper dragging us down, how far could the Rockets have advanced?

    Poll coming up.

I think maybe Western Conference Finals. We would have beaten the Blazers for sure and be favored 60/40 vs. the Spurs but OKC and the Clips are bad matchups even without Cooper.

Now we can have a ton of Dean threads instead of Lin threads.

I've been saying it's Dean Cooper who's been dragging us down the whole way. If you watch the game carefully, you'd notice that he was in charge of doing stuff that takes us to the championship. But he didn't do anything that could bring us to the goal. You can say he has no heart or will of a champion. In this league you need an assistant who wants to take the team all the way. You need to have guts, motivation, will, and fire in the eyes so that you can do great things. In this league you can't falter to every little thing. Dean Cooper had the talents to be very special in the league, but because he couldn't bring himself to take it to the next level, he held us back. So this was a great move. We would have been champs if it wasn't for him.

Mr. Cooper was the obvious problem. Now he can go back to hanging and being a substitute teacher/high school gym coach.

Sure this guy isn't one of McHale's imaginary scapegoats?

Cooper was clearly a detriment and distraction to our Duck sets.

He is the reason Asik could never make a layup.

We won't even make the playoffs. He was the reason to our success this year.

i told you guys the stagnant, one-on-one offense you see is an illusion. but no one believed me, not even myself. they were actually calling plays, setting screens, and moving around the court in a systematic fashion. its unfortunate cooper held the rockets back far enough to keep them from contending, or even getting out of the first round, for that matter.

Dean Cooper made Jeremy Lin throw jump stop spin pivot turnover.

    Thanks Dean Cooper.
