The Blazers let Mills go after 2 seasons. He was a middling player there. Green was a piece of garbage for a couple of years before becoming useful in San Antonio. Belinelli was a downy soft, slow Euro before finding some grit last year with the Bulls. He's gone to another level under Pop.

Great coaching does wonders with some players.

Finally Aldridge got called for a push-off. And it's only because Diaw fell down.

He gets away with it constantly.

that belinelli double fake and then pass. On any other team he would have shooted already, this is why the spurs are such a great organization. This is a clinic.

This Spurs series shows just how obvious it is officials can control the fate of a team.

They made the Blazers look unstoppable. Meanwhile they fail to get calls and they look like they couldn't hang with a D League team.

Happy seeing the tbzers get kicked in the n*Ts by san Antonio but if we are going to win a championship. We gotta have a motion offense. Can't ball stop. Watch n learn McHale and get a defense guru as assistant HC.

Belinelli barely played in the Spurs series against the Mav. Why? Because he was not playing defense. You see, when your coach don't allow bad defense, the team don't play bad defense. In turn, the player know exactly what's expected of them and is being held accountable plus given the responsibility to play the right way. That's why the Spurs players excel at what they do.

Spurs had just 1 TO in the 1st half. Crazy.

Portland has missed open shots all series.

When they played Houston, they were making incredible contested shots. They couldn't miss.

That's just how it goes sometimes...

It has something to do with spending all that energy to defend against 5 vs defend against 1.

Butt whoopin, just a complete butt whoopin/class is in session/ D-league material and how sweet it is to see the Blazers getting that ass whoopin stamp of approval.

That's at least 4 in the series so far...he didn't get called once in 6 games vs Rockets.

Watching the Blazers get spanked is sweet, but I still wish it was us getting the spanking...:(
