This is no contest for the Spurs right now. Even though they had some injuries how the hell did we sweep them in the reg season?!

Adidas doesn't care, they just want flashy plays and dunks.

I love Patty Mills. How do Spurs keep finding all these shooters? Mills Green Marco etc.

It is more than that. Even while the Rockets were losing I said this about the Blazers...

They are VERY one dimensional, even moreso than the Rockets. They just jack up jumpers for mostly the entire game. They have to shoot a very high % to beat you. When they are off they look like a average team. I maintained that throughout the year, this isn't surprising to me.

I picked Spurs in 5 because I figured they'd get one blazing hot shooting night but I'm not even sure that can save them from a sweep now.

I don't think experience is going to help them. Unless LMA AND Lillard changes their game so it's not so reliant on jumpers.

Nothing new. Blazers fans have been complaining about it all season long.

Spurs are amazing. People in San Antonio should be very proud of the way they play. Thats just beautiful to watch. Few turnovers and few foul and everything are perfect.

Because their GM just won executive of the year award whereas Morey ranked No 9.

Lillard can't score. Team defense locking him down. Rockets think bev can do it by himself. No single defender can lock down a great offensive player. It requires team defense.

Watching the Blazers get dismantled in every game thus far really makes me sick to think that we weren't able to advance past them. Every game (except game 2) it was the same formula, jump out to a 10-13 point lead, own them for the bulk of qtrs 1-3 and then choke ass in the 4th and let them slide by with the win. Unlike many homers that thought we were going to blaze by the Spurs I feared we would run into the team Portland seems to have and we would lose a 6 or 7 game series. Instead, we sucked ass and lost to this pathetic Blazers team thanks to a comedy of errors and D-bag coaching ... Ugghhhh !!!! We do I put myself through the agony year after year....

Bingo. Simply said, it's a matter of good coaching and being in a good system. Remember Roger Mason Jr. from a few years ago, how good he looked, and the several game winners he had? What happened as soon as he left the Spurs? Never heard from again. Or how good George Hill looked when he was on the Spurs.....now, not so much.
