    For the most part, baseball could make things easier by not having to call games due to rain. Simply suspend the game and pick up where they left off. Historically there are not that many games once started in any given year called before 9 innings have been completed.

    Right, but they revert back to the last completed inning which means the Astros lose 3-2.
