I am Horn too, but usually you want taller DEs in the 3-4 He is better suited for the 4-3 He might have a shot at OLB but we already took one
Ugh: Matt Williamson No QB in this class is close to Thomas' skill set Matt Williamson Greg Cosell compares Thomas very much to Cam Newton as same point of college career...that kind of ability
The other rebuilding project is Savage. I don't want to see it, but if he's there I bet he's the Texans' pick.
Agree We arguably took the Best player overall Best OG (or 2nd best at worst) Best blocking TE Best NT for the 3-4 (or 2nd best at worst) Clearly we haz needs (QB for example), but they have made the most of the spots we had Here is the way I look at it .... With those first two picks, they actually filled 4 positions Clowney at OLB allows Reed to move to ILB effectively filling 2 LB spots The Samoan -X- at LG allows Quessenberry move to RT effectively filling 2 OL spots I see it as efficient, if not clever Alot of people are focused on the QB issue and not seeing the big picture
Thomas is off the board. Pack it in and wait for Winston. FitzgPatrick will be serviceable for the season
With Logam Thomas off the board, looks like Savage or Murray HOU is at the bottom of the scroll now, we are getting closer
