181 and 216 could be parlayed to move up into the 5th perhaps to nab a player that may drop...but right now...the Texans should be happy with how things turned out in day two. Made two solid picks and a high risk high reward player with Nix...we shall see how things turn out. Pressure immensely falls on Crennel to make this a dominant defensive unit.

If Texans can pick up Aaron Murray in the 4th and Trey Millard in the 6th I'll be happy. Millard would be a beast in BOB's system.

Or he may simply not like anyone in this draft? If there's one team whose management doesn't need to panic and draft a QB just to draft a QB, it's the Texans.

Next offseason the Texans get to revisit the position and possibly can add Mallet as a FA if they like him as much as the rumors indicate.

Ive wanted Murray from the start...I dont know why, but I like his attitude.

I'd be pretty stoked if we got him in the 4th.

Why are you guys still discussing these crap water quarterbacks to waste a pick on...??? The quarterback store has closed. Whoever they draft at this point is more than likely backup potential at best... But I guess there's nothing wrong with hope.

I like him a lot as well as a value pick in the 4th. Great attitude. Reminds me a little of Romo actually.

Isn't this the guy that's on 610? Just a radio personality?

I'd rather see Case than Mallet.

Gruden was blown away with Murray in his camp...says he's one of the best QBs to come to his camp in the last 5 years and that he's definitely a diamond in the rough.

I tend to agree with that. Definitely worth a shot if he's available at the back end of the 4th round.

Gruden's endorsement isn't exactly impressive, he loves every QB he sees.

I say they just let FitzPatrick play all year and then give up all their picks to move up and get Winston

    So we got the:
    1st ranked OLD
    1st ranked OG
    5th ranked TE
    3rd ranked NT

I call that a good draft

It's worth a lotto ticket pick if Murray, Savage or Boyd are around in the 5th. But other than that just go with BPA rest of the way.

I'm sure Murray "may" make it as a good backup. Gruden says something good about everyone. All of these guys are star quarterbacks according to him.

3 guys that will probably start day 1...not bad at all.

I gotta say, QB's in our division better practice their 3 step drops because that's all they'll be able to do now that the Texans have 3 guys on their D line that require double teams.

Good night everyone. Seems like a strong draft thus far.
