Agree 100% I truly believe Case will get a fair shake this time around. Hopefully BO'B keeps his word and makes it an open competition.
With only a late 4th round compensatory pick and not picking again until the first pick in the 6th round, I believe Case might have real chance at getting a fair shake this season. Lets see what he can do with an open competition to start, a solid offensive line, and a running game.
I'm not even a Texans fan, I'm a Cowboys fan.. But I really like Keenum and I firmly believe that he has what it takes... Nobody could have won with that team last year. Nobody!!! Troy Aikman lost something like his first 11 games of his career and he turned out to be a pretty successful QB. Keenum showed some real promise and it would be a shame if this new regime overlooked what he can do simply because he wasn't drafted.

Relax, have a beer. Whoever or ifever a qb is drafted do you actually think they will be starting this season?
I think it's almost a certainty Fitzpatrick starts. They kept saying over and over they were going to draft a QB. They won't carry 4 QBs... somebody is going home. Might be Case.
Im sure he gets a call from BOB. Our team has lost two starting QBs, and that cheap shot hit to the knees by that Colts player pissed me off.
You'd think that if OB thought Case was an option, he'd have signed him instead of Thad Lewis when Mallett went down.
AND THIS is a perfect example of why you don't attribute WINs to quarterbacks. Russell Wilson and Trent Dilfer come to mind.
