Whoops. Left out "Season Long" from the title. I'm glad I had him on my fantasy team for what could have been the best season of his career.
If the news had to come, at least it's at a time when they can adapt easily. Trade for 2.1 so they can nab Lee.
Niners should trade Aldon Smith for Josh Gordon! =D Its a shame Gordon cant seem to lay off the drugs, dude is so talented, he might might might just maybe has a chance to be the BEST WR in the game! While Gordon and other players who fail the nfl drug tests are indeed idiots, I curious, why the hell are they testing for recreational drugs like MJ and codeine. The tests should focus primarily IMO on performance enhancing drugs and its masking agents, not recreational.
Do you have a job where you can test positive for MJ and keep it? Its their policy... if you want to get high often, you're not going to keep your job. Same policy exists in the NBA (albeit they do have less frequent testing, so guys are routinely smoking up after they pass their test).
Dang it Josh, Briles kicked him off the team because he fell asleep in the Taco Bell drive thru with Willie Jefferson when they were both stoned out of their minds.
The dude is an NFL freak -- the numbers last year were sick with a CFL level QB -- he is however lacking sense between the ears.
That is a very kind way to word the correct assessment of this situation. With my normal eloquence, I'd have gone with "****ing dumb****."
Since when is "dumbf%$#ery" a race? It's more of a color-blind personality fault, like being from Massachussetts or something.
His agent came out and said that the report is false and that there hasn't even been a drug test issued.
Drew Rosenhaus. The pinnacle of honesty and good faith. Supposedly the test was from last winter. He got popped, and it went to appeals. The appeal has concluded and not overturned the findings. Now comes the punishment. FYI ownership/management has supposedly confirmed the failed test, and strangely enough, they knew about it before the draft and didn't adjust their strategy.
the NFL shouldn't punish or suspend for recreational mar1juana use. like another poster said - focus on performance enhancing drugs and let your stars live the high life if they choose.
