So taking this and the Sharpton thread, I guess as long as the news itself is otherwise benign, giving a topic a mild D&D spin makes it Hangout-acceptable. Congrats basso, you're a marginally smarter version of ToyCen.
It's not for the sh-tty headphones, it's for the music subscription service. Spotify is eroding the digital download model, I guess Apple would rather pay for an excisting service than start a new one up from scratch. On a side note, **** this POS thug. #NeverforgetDeeBarnes.
What's tacky? He worked hard.. Made bank while he was at it. From nothing to this. Excuse him for not giving a ef.
Actually Dre didn't even invent the headphones. Dre was gangsta http://gizmodo.com/5981823/beat-by-dre-the-inside-story-of-how-monster-lost-the-world
Ding ding ding. winnar. Just when we thought it might be safe to visit a non-D&D basso thread. Ah well.
I think the rubbing it in people's face would be the tacky part. Making the money is great and to be admired. Yeah I wasn't mistaking Dr. Dre for Gunter Weidemann. Just pointing out that Beats and Apple sell crappy sounding headphones.
I believe it was just last year that Dre donated $35 mil to USC. Is there any data to support the claim that black entertainers don't donate?
They're definitely buying it for the headphones. The Beats Music service is only estimated to have 500,000 subscribers compared to 4mil for Spotify and 3mil for Pandora. Pandora only has a market value of $5bil.
dre should donate 10% to jesus. Actually he should donate 10% to osteen for more 'prosperity' and heavy eye blinking
You are an idiot. This helps Apple with audio hardware and software. Beats streaming service is better than ITunes radio. Also, improves the pack in headphones for the iPod,iPhone, and iPad. Will also improve the speakers on all apple products. Apple has $160 Billion dollars in the bank. They need to make smart purchases like this.
In what way will it improve headphones or speakers? Beats only brings marketing but that starts and ends with the the Beats name. I question what it has left after Dre M.D. isn't pushing it.
