Both Lin and Harden have been proven very efficient PnR ball handler. Why the Rockets don't use it more is just beyond me.

Everybody harps on Lin's jumping-in-the-air-with-nowhere-to-go turnovers. Yes, he does that. It sticks out like a sore thumb so everybody notices that. But objectively speaking, those turnovers aren't as serious as they look. And it has a lot to do with the defense packing it in. What needs to be done is more commitment to executing the PnR with either Harden or Lin. That involve working it out in practice. It involves smart spacing. It involves setting good picks.

As good a defender as Beverley is, he doesn't make his man work on the other end. He is okay at spotting up. He doesn't have the skill to keep attacking the basket. So the opponent's PG doesn't need to exert a lot of energy to play defense.

It was so frustrating seeing them do that to us and for us not to try to take advantage of a Lamarcus on Dwight or Harden on Lillard matchup more often.

They could care less if Lopez was in foul trouble cause they'd just throw Freeland out there on Dwight. You very rarely saw Lamarcus drawing Dwight offensively and getting into any sort of foul trouble, for Dwight it was often the other way around.

    McHale sucks.
