Apparently so. I like how the people that were hating on folks freaking out for not moving up for Manziel are now the ones freaking out.

It is funny how many people are freaking out over this.

Our future depended on Teddy Bridgewater...lol.

Stephon Tuitt will fit nicely as a replacement for Antonio Smith, at 6'6 and 310 He and Clowney can learn a lot from JJ Watt about technique and batting down the ball.

I's be happy with Ra'shede Hageman as well but he need a lot of work, he won't be the starter day one.

New England, and Denver picked players that wouldve been there. The Texans if they valued TB as the next best QB really blew this...

The memories of some of you that knee jerk in draft threads is hilarious. We've seen time and time again that it's impossible to predict who will succeed and who will bust in the NFL. Slow down, or you're going to end up like one of those idiots that proclaimed they were done with the Texans after drafting Watt :) .

Either Qb, oline, or Nose. We have no nose, and there are three or four good ones left.

We could easily go nose or oline ( Cyrus K, kid from Notre Dame, kid from Nevada) for need, while still having a shot at someone like Tom Savage at the top of the third. Gonna be interesting tomorrow.

A lot of times when deals are made teams can burn bridges by working a deal then going back to the team they are trying to leap for a better deal. Not saying the Texans never had an option to counter, but I think it's possible.

If the Texans take a QB at #33, I think it shows that Rick failed in this instance. Doing so means they wanted a QB all along. We don't know if they preferred Carr or Bridgewater. Obviously, if they wanted Bridgewater, Smith got snookered. But even they wanted Carr, they allowed themselves to be leapfrogged and have somebody pick the position they were targeting ahead of them. And there was no guarantee that pick wouldn't have been Carr. A lot of people had Carr mocked ahead of Bridgewater so it easily could have been. Regardless of who they prefer, if they were targeting QB at #33 then it was a bad move not to trade up because they allowed a team to potentially steal their pick which very well may have happened.

Now, if the Texans don't go QB at #33, then who knows if they were initially targeting a QB at that pick. It might've been Bridgewater but it may not have been. We won't know. But if they do take a QB, then I do think it means that Rick ****ed up.

I wish there could be a compilation of those posts. That would really put things into perspective, for all the posters in here that are complaining about not taking Teddy.

get starters in the 2nd and third ...rookie quarterbacks sit till the vets waste the season anyway
    Ryan Fitzpatrick will start.

They can still add McCarron, Murray , Metzenberg or savage to hold the clipboard
