Do you think these teams are just dicking around doing whatever they want? You can't blow first round picks on luxuries or whims... without it eventually biting you in the ass by not filling a need elsewhere. Also if they really wanted Russell Wilson 2.0, they'd get him in the 3rd round... as he continues to fall.
This. Every self respectable NFL gm knows that no QB in this draft was worth a 1st. Jacksonville is ****ing stupid for drafting Bortles, but hey i'm glad they took him. I'm sure watt and clowney are sweating thinking about going against Bortles.
