If he makes it passed Arizona, which he may not, and you like him, you better think about trading up before Cleveland. Although Cleveland may want Derek Carr. No matter what, the Texans should have a good chance at two of the top four qbs without a trade. That's pretty amazing.
Mentioned him before, but in that post I was strictly comparing the last 10 years. Brees was taken 13 years ago.
Obviously a lot more come out of the first, I never said they did not. I mentioned Favre because he's a HOF QB. My point was and is you can still get a good QB...even a great QB in the 2nd round (which also would include any round beyond that)
Thought they need to protect Romo...Romo with time was decent..he just makes dumb decisions sometimes..
Seriously .. . if they can get Bridgewater or Manzeil at 33 That will make this quite a draft Rocket River not strong on the Mallet
I doubt they trade at all. How many trades have they ever made in the Rick Smith era? I think they traded up for Ben Tate once...don't remember much beyond that.
You can, but my point is that it doesn't happen all that often. We've had some notable QBs taken in the 2nd and 3rd in recent years, but I don't necessarily think that's the beginning of a new trend.
