If the Cowboys and Jets pass of JFF then the Texans need to trade up before the Bengals at 24 or Browns at 26 and even those teams might pass on Manziel as the Bengals have Dalton (lol) and the Browns love Bridgewater. Manziel might fall to the Texans at 33
Maybe in college he was "tailor made"... but his system is far more complex (for good reason) in the NFL. I don't think JFF knows how to read a defense... its a vital component of the no-huddle.
I highly doubt Manzeil would drop that low. If this does indeed happen, we couldn't ask for a better draft.
Bridgewater/Carr/Manziel Looking good for the Texans to get one. I know the name 'Carr' scares the ____ out of people though. As a 2nd round pick, I'd gladly roll the dice on Manziel.
So they're replacing an underrated undrafted player who became overrated after he outperformed expectations... for an overrated college QB. Sounds about right for that franchise where the owner is the GM.

And you know, if O'Brien was being truthful about "not seeing much separation" between the top QBs, he might be content to wait until #33 and take whoever is left, only moving up if it looks like all (particularly Manziel and Bridgewater) will go in the 1st.
Exxactly. Even if all three of those guys go, still some guys you can take a good chance on. Lots of good QBs go in the 2nd round, if the first pick wasn't a Luck/Manning type of prospect, then you simply don't reach for him. QB is a position that teams are REALLY picky on. So they always fall in the draft.
