So does the first pick happen at 7pm? Or is that the beginning of a 30 min to an hour or pre draft show?
I am sure there will be all sorts of annoying promo stuff to drag it out. I see it is 10 minutes between picks too so wonder how long Texans will take. hopefully most of the teams don't take the full 10 minutes or it's going to be a long night!
didnt we have mario williams already signed before the draft started? they must be going down to the wire
Texans select... JD Clowney. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/YyxvHglzrBw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
There's no negotiation with draft picks anymore. Their salaries are set by the CBA, so no reason to sign them pre-draft anymore.
That was back when the first pick got 40-50 million guaranteed making it almost impossible to trade the first pick. New CBA has changed things
If Atlanta (or Buffalo) wants to trade with Houston they may have to trade up with another team 1st and get the player Houston may want and then swap with Houston.
