Yeah, we all know obesity is bad, but I think maybe the point these groups are trying to make is the prevalence of 'slurs' and 'jokes' directed at fat people, and trying to stop it. In this age of political correctness where more and more groups are becoming immune to such denigration, it's natural for fat people to be outraged and speak out.
Why should being a black man make Charles more sensitive about having one's physical body criticized?

Two things: 1) The Round Mound of Rebound obviously has no idea that SA is full of hot-a$$ latinas, and 2) There really is such a thing as a "National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance"? Really?!? Why not call if the "National Association of People Who Gave Up Even Trying to Control their Weight and Now Simply Must Force Everyone Else to Accept It"? Stupid. On both counts.
There are people who are overweight by choice (maybe most fat people are). But there are also medical conditions and/or genetic conditions that make people obese. I do think that making fun of fat people is not cool. It's easy to crack a joke in the studio. Would Charles look a fat woman in her eyes and say, "You are fat, hahahah"?
look into history, other cultures, and civilizations.. never been a problem of having tons and tons of flabby rolls of nasty stinky fat.. its driven by diet and life style from a early age. All the crap people eat and what parents feed their kids from a young age impact their metabolism. I would say very very very rarely someone is fat because they have some weird genetic disorder (i perosnally dont know about a specific genetic that causes you to be obese though) It's very simple ... eat less sugar and fatty calories = weight loss
i know!! it's insane.. all the members are just lazy fat ass people sitting on their asses and eating
Jeeeez... why the heck are people so senstive these days? You dont like being overweight/obese.. then change it! Being obese is not a medical illness, it's a choice. How about taking responsibilities for your own actions/eating habits rather than making excuses? "Making slurs about body size is just as offensive as making comments about body color" -- are freaking kidding me?? Because i control the color of my own skin...My gosh, I feel like i just lost some brain cells reading that garbage...
