Trading the pick rather than picking him would be passing on him. He knows Houston is taking him.

Any sentence about McClain that involves him 'leaking' and 'sweat' makes me want to take a shower.

I think it would be fun to have Manziel, but I dont see the Texans making that move at all.

It's Clowney or trade down...and I'll go 80% Clowney and 20% trade down.

The only thing left is now formality announcing the pick nationally...Clowney and Watt should scare every OC throughout the league...

Congratulations for getting the player you want... But we will see rather they screwed up or not when the season starts and rather or not we have a dominant defense that can shut down everyone and if Clowney is a game changer. They'll have a good test opening day...

We know he's gonna be the first pick. That's not in question.

The question is whether the Texans find a trade partner willing to forfeit picks in order to obtain the rights to drafting/obtaining Clowney.

We still don't know if anyone is seriously willing to move up. That's what people are attempting to forecast not who the #1 pick will be, for the most part.

If the Texans pick Clowney with the first pick, and he has a career equal to what Mario Williams has done, should Texan fans be satisfied?

I would only be satisfied if it equates into wins and playoff victories... Which didn't happen with Mario.

Well that was confusing to read.

I don't think we will see anything, because judging a player off their first professional game isn't too bright!

Clowney has already been plagued by minor injuries that caused him to miss games in college, and caused problems in pre-draft workouts, so I would say there is a good chance his performance could suffer due to health issues.

Fans always know best when it comes to the draft. See draft thread when Watt was drafted.

Is he gonna walk in 5 years?

Is he gonna have nagging injuries that keep him from reaching full "potential".

Is he gonna go missing for stretches where fans ask "Where's Jadeveon?"

Are fans gonna say "We need more help for <strike>Mario</strike> Jadeveon!

Are we gonna hear excuses as for why he didn't live up to the once-in-a-generation, rare hype?

Will Jadeveon ever play in a playoff game with Houston?

Will Jadeveon have more than two double-digit sack seasons?

Will the Texans do better than 3-8 against the Colts because they need to get after <strike>Peyton Manning</strike> Andrew Luck!

These are just a few questions. :)

No different than judging a player off of a lackluster year in college and saying he's better than Mario like you do...
