Dwight recently said he wanted Portland to win it all, now that Houston is out. Some reason that, if you're going to lose, you want to lose to the eventual champion. Do you share the same view or not?
I at least want POR to have a good showing against the Spurs in their series. Outlook looks cloudy, however.
I want the Blazers to get destroyed by the Spurs. I did not like the way the series went. The refs gave us no calls. Matthews out-flopped Harden's best performances. LMA got possessed for two games. Lillard was a cocky punk. I want them to get beat by a well oiled team so I do not think about the what-ifs as much.
I'm still a little down in regards to basketball. It's hard for me to have interest in the rest of the playoffs. But I only hate one player on the Blazers, and that's Mo Williams. I'm okay with them winning it all, especially if Dwight wants it. I might as well vote for them to win it, though I'm not really excited about it either way
I want the blazers to slowly rot away until their franchise is considered worthless and is sold to a different city where they continue to get wrecked.
watching the spurs pick apart portland schematically makes me wonder why the hell mchale is being brought back
I want the Blazers to go to the finals, go up 3-0 against the heat, really get there fans excited and spirits up about winning the series, have the whole city talking about it, everybody super happy... and then CRUSHED by a 4-0 comeback by the heat blowing them out by 30 every game. Leaving there fans hearts in pieces.
I want the Blazers to get destroyed.... (And they just might.) Only because the Rockets' front office might then realize that the team that bounced us from the playoffs really wasn't so formidable..... And maybe trigger a shakeup in the coaching or offensive philosophy........
I want those lucky bastards to get swept by the Spurs. As a bonus I hope they all contract herpes while in San Antonio by some raunchy ass whores. **** the Blazers!!!
Want them to get swept. As long as the Rockets are headed for 2015 max capspace, I want the Blazers to suck as much as they can. If/when the Rockets get Melo or Love, then I would simple stop caring about the Blazers.
Don't you know? Because the Rockets were a young team and McHale just needs one more year with them. Then we'll magically become a better defensive team, stop turning the ball over, run actual offensive plays instead of just ISO, execute in close games, and take crappy opponents seriously. Obviously I'm being facetious, but it looks like Morey and Les have actually bought into that BS line of thought.
I don't care anymore. I just want the playoffs to be over so I don't have to see NBA basketball without the Rockets. While I wasn't expecting a championship or Finals appearance, I fully expected the team to make it to the second round and even the WCF with how we got the match ups we wanted with Blazers in round 1 and the Spurs in round 2. Now I get sick in the stomach seeing all the feeds about Lillard vs. Parker or Duncan vs. LMA. Just get the playoffs over with so the offseason can begin and Clutchfans can become bearable with excitement on free agency.
I used to have the exact same opinion. But, I realized one thing a long time ago,... no one really cares about a first round loser. Call it what you want, but we lost in the first round. Does that mean our future isn't bright? No. I think we have a top 3 brightest future in the NBA. But, at the end of the day, if you didn't make it to the finals... and even more so, if you didn't win in the finals,... you really haven't done anything yet. So, it doesn't matter either way to me.
I want Blazers to get destroyed so that Morey gets a hint that this Rockets team is NOT just a couple of coin flips away...
Should have an option of beating the spurs and then losing to whomever. Number 2 for me after the Rocks winning is the spurs losing. Don't want to see Duncan get another ring, plus don't care for Parker and Ginobli. But after that I want to see rip city get ripped.
Wouldn't the fact that Morey's looking at Love, Melo, and Rondo, or the fact that he stated at the beginning of the season that his goals are the 2nd round... means he already knows this?
