    Meanwhile. Portland brings it down to 9 and what happens?

    Nothing. Spurs do not blink. They play every second of the game with the same amount of intensity.

    Why is that?

    Well coaching is a big part of it. It really helps when you are using your bench and not running your starters into the ground. Guys like Baines is playing his heart out because he's still playing for a job. Just like Daniels did for us.

    Splitter's Defense is also showing we should have given Dmo a shot at Aldridge. Not saying Dmo is as good defensively as Splitter but his quickness and length would have been effective.

    true. you don't notice how stagnant our offense is until you watch the spurs.

    it's amazing how active players are off the ball. even when it's "iso", the other players are in good position to get offensive rebounds or distract defenders.

    Should have got a shot definitely. You never know until you try. No one would have guessed that Garcia could defend Durant sorta well...but you try it.

    You especially try it as he torches you for two straight games.
