    Cannot stand people like Jackson.

Speaks against Jason Collins for being gay, cites religious beliefs as reason and a shield to himself, then cheats on his wife with a stripper. Ignorant man.

So I've heard the prospects that GSW will be pursuing are Steve Kerr, Fred Hoiberg (?) and Stan Van Gundy (preferred but unlikely).

You might have skimmed over the fact that most of those moves were made because of Jackson. Do some research and you'll find out that the gm didn't want Bogut. That was one of those early "clashes" that he had with management. They want and "exciting" team and he wanted a team that plays d.

They were also missing Andrew Bogut, by far their best Center and still took the Clippers to 7 games. A solid performance all factors considered.

They are expected to ask the Bulls for permission to talk to Coach Thibs.

All Jackson preached to his players were how to act like thugs on the court. They looked a sinking ship this season.

Adelman wasn't fired, right? We just let his contract expire and decided not to extend his contract. We'll probably do the same thing with McHale.

Time flies. I honestly thought this was his first or second season coaching.

1st round exits are a BIG wakeup call. The rockets seem to be the only organization content with them though.

The warriors was one of, if not my favorite team to watch in the NBA the past three seasons and while most of that had to do with Stephen Curry, Mark Jackson also deserves a lot of credit. Jackson turned a perennial basement dwelling team, to a very good team with back to back playoff appearances. His emphasis on defense turned the warriors into a top 12 and then to top three defensive team.

Jackson's players clearly loved playing for him and he was able to pull from them, maximum effort and toughness. Say what you will about his lack of XO's, his 5 man units, his rotation and his isolations (all true), but one thing you must say about Jackson, is that his team played HARD for him. They bought into his defensive mindset, the effort and the toughness.

I wasnt a big fan of Jackson's coaching, especially his rotations and love for playing David Lee, but the man did his job. If the owners and management made this decision due to ego, they better hope their next choice is even more successful than Jackson.

Well Mchale doesn't have to do much to keep his job here in Houston... it's like that here. If Kubiak would have won 4 more games he wouldn't have got fired.

Absolutely. I'd rather my coach be cocky than incompetent. But let's remember the real coach of this team is Daryl Morey
