    Jones + Asik for Millsap

    Lowry/Harden/Parsons/Millsap/Howard

i actually think that's giving up too much for millsap. and the thing is once we take on his contract, our cap flexibility is gone. he's a solid player who can defend, rebound and help with spacing, but he's not a go-to guy. so not really sure he makes us a true contender. i think we need one more player besides harden who can create his own shot.

I don't know if I would go the Millsap route either... But if you are not getting Anthony, then finding a way to add Lowry AND Millsap isn't a bad consolation prize.

Oh yea, I forgot. You know more than the owner of the team does.

A conservative plan, if Lin/Asik as hard to trade as Stein says due to balloon payments:

Trade Asik/Dmo (+?) for cap space. Sign Lowry.

Trade Lin to Sac for Carl Landry.

Asik probably worth at least even money with cap space at this point. If not, can sweeten with Dmo, other small asset(s).

Can trade Lin for a 'worse contract' like Landry's multi-year one, but who is a much better fit here than in Sac, the land of power forwards. Assuming he has healed and passed physical.

what sucks is your reading comprehension skillz. he didn't say he wants THE mark cuban to own the rockets. he said he wants a new owner who cares about winning no matter what (like mark cuban does) to buy the rockets from les.

but in any case, since you think the board is beyond suck now, why not just go back to youtube? ;)

It is possible.. Would require the ability to get Lowry to sign for 12-13 million a season and the willingness for Atlanta to move Millsap. Atlanta wants a real center, to move Holford to his natural 4 spot.... While it lacks a third legit star, that line up is long on grit and the defense is immediately better.

That is a tough one honestly, deep pockets, passionate about winning, bit of a win at all costs owner.

Yeah, that would not be so bad.....

Did I mention he is on my cell phone as a contact?

    :)

What is the situation with Lowry and Mchale/Morey at this moment? How does bringing back McHale impact Lowrys desire to be a rocket?

Say what you will about Les, but he's a great owner that's always willing to spend money when we have a chance at contending for the title.

    1. Trade Lin, Garcia, our 1st rounder and cash to Philly for bag of beans pre-draft.

    2. Asik and TJones for Millsap.

    3. Sign terrific free agent.

Not really, Asik is going to leave no matter what next offseason. Jones has the potential to be just a good as milsap down the road, but the phrases "down the road" and the "potential" don't go the win now mode this team is in.

Milsap is basically the power forward version of Parsons(except with defense), he just does everything. He scores, he rebounds, he hustles, he's tough, he passes, and he's good for a steal and a block a game, all while being a very efficient and smart player.

If we could add Milsap, along with Lowry to this team without giving up parsons, we'd immediately jump into the top 3 in the nba, favorites in the west to win a ring.

Also, Milsap will be expiring next season as well if i'm correct, and if we got the chance to sign a max player in the 2015 FA, we'd still be flexible enough to be able to sign Love or Aldridge just by trading Lowry and not resigning Parsons and Milsap.

Well I don't want an owner like Mark Cuban. I'm sticking with the board. And the team. I b**** about posters, not about the Rockets. Now get back to your "fandom," which is 90% complaining about the team you "support."
