Not terribly surprised that Harden is the holdout. I imagine Harden blames the Howard postups for his struggles in the playoffs....which honestly may be at least partially correct.

Luckily, Harden's opinion is the least I care about. He's signed through 2018. Howard, for all intents and purposes is on a two year contract, and he could make trade demands after next season. Need to keep the big guy happy.

Cyber, do you know of any of the names the Rockets will target?

Is Rondo still on the radar? Is Melo?

I know the team would love to sign Lebron but honestly I can't see that.

The two interesting names to me are Bosh and Love. I would prefer the later but does the brass really feel as if we have the pieces to obtain K this offseason? I can't see them wanting to wait for his free agency.

I mean, 99 percent of Clutchfans hates McHale, we shouldn't be surprised if Harden kind of thinks McHale is clueless.

Harden has been to the Finals. He knows coacing matters.

I don't see James "only God can judge me" Harden being scared of Bruce Bowen, or of any coach for that matter.

Bowen would be perfect for Beverley though. The dirtiest player in the NBA coaching the dirtiest player in Europe -- what's not to like?

From Clutch's exit interview videos, Dwight, Parsons, Harden and Beverley all sounded excited that McHale was coming back.

Hopefully people on here figure this out soon....

Not sure how many times the opposite of what Cybex says proves to be the truth.... it has become uncanny...

Not sure how you can use that as any sort of evidence? Doesn't anyone remember how Howard acted right after SVG told the media he wanted him fired? There does exist a term called "lip service" in this world.

They may be. But then again most players wouldn't publicly throw their coach under the bus even if they are privately unhappy. Public Relations 101.

Thanks Cyberx, really appreciate all the inside info :)

I swear, the "inside the organization" angle of Rockets ball is one of the most fascinating parts of the game for me.

Yep, after that SVG incident, I don't really trust what Howard says in the media. I don't really trust anything anybody says in the media, for that matter.

Remember Harden said that he was serious about improving his defense at the beginning of the season?

These guys know how to give lip service.

Also makes me really miss Doc Rocket.

Because he's the hero Clutchfans deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Doc Rocket.

This whole Sampson thing is a crock of ****.

We still played **** D with him. We still let Blame, Tucker, other scrubs light harden up. We still couldn't cover basic out of bounds plays, we still had no idea how to defend pick and rolls.

Why does everyone point to Sampson? We were like this all season long, it's just magnified in the playoffs.

Bowen would be awesome, I'd be in full support of bringing in Stockton to help develop a better half court game too.

All Malone would do is teach Harden to go younger...

I'll agree that Harden is smart and also a rogue player.... Seems like the type that would dominate playoffs.. Maybe he bet against us.

Not to mention bringing in Divac to teach them the art of flopping.

It's gonna be a dream team coaching staff!
